Summer Solstice Sunrise

BBC Breakfast (that fantastic morning program) charged its viewers with the task of photographing the Solstice sunrise. I woke at 4:30 and headded on my bike through the university and up to the start of the M3. THe roundabout there was going to give me the best Northeasterly aspect. These shots are my submissions to Breakfast.

The roundabout North of the Avenue (A34/M3 junciton) was the best I could find for a sunrise location.

New Macro Lens

Well, as you can see from the pictures below, my new macro lens arrived this morening and has taken some grand images allready. It was a pretty windy day so the foxgloves were swaying uncontrollably, but still managed to get some shots. It looks like getitng insects on flowers - my first goal for this lens - is going to be a tricky one.
